WordPress website design
Transformer London Ltd
Website redesign for a national t-shirt screen printing company based in London.
Thank you Gareth of Digital Shed45 for a complete rework on our old and rather dated-looking website.
The result is excellent and has been a simpler process from beginning to end than we first anticipated.
Gareth is very easy indeed to work with and thoroughly professional in his approach to problem solving our numerous requirements. It has been a relief to find someone who takes the time to listen and create from vague brief to finished website.
I have no hesitation in recommending Digital Shed45 for any new (or reworked) website design project.

Our collaboration
Stewart from Transformer London asked me to redesign the company’s existing website so that it was clearer, easier to navigate, easier to update and better placed to perform in search results.
We began by discussing the nature of the business, its main audiences and the journeys customers typically take before placing an order. Transformer London works with experienced designers, businesses, organisations and individuals ordering printed garments for the first time, so the site needed to support different levels of confidence and knowledge.
Stewart provided existing copy, images and product information at the start of the project. He was also happy for me to lead on the structure, design and user experience of the new site.
A key aim was to make the ordering process easier to understand. I restructured the site around the main decisions customers need to make: what they want to order, what artwork they need to provide, which garments are suitable and how pricing works. This helped turn a fairly specialist printing process into a clearer step-by-step journey.
The visual design was developed from Transformer London’s existing brand. I used a simple primary and secondary colour palette inspired by the logo, supported by softer background colours to help separate different types of information. The use of uppercase headings was also inspired by the company’s wordmark, giving the site a stronger visual connection to the brand.
Throughout the build, I shared progress with Stewart and invited feedback at key stages. This helped keep the project focused while allowing design and content decisions to be refined as the site took shape.
Because Transformer London was already hosted on SiteGround, the final migration was straightforward. Once the redesigned site was ready, I was able to move it from staging to the live domain quickly and with minimal disruption.
The result is a clearer, more focused website that better explains Transformer London’s services, supports customers through the ordering process and gives the business a stronger platform for future updates and search visibility.
